SEATTLE, WA.- The NHRA Full Throttle Series traveled to the Pacific Raceways (Seattle, WA.), to compete in the NHRA Northwest Nationals this past weekend July 18-19.
Top Fuel Dragster points leader Antron Brown (Upper Left) did it again, beating Tony Schumacher in the finals of the Top Fuel Dragsters. This is the second straight finals victory for Brown.
In Funny Car action, Tim Wilkerson defeated Tony Pedegron in the final. Ron Capps took control of the lead in the Funny Car points race, but Ashley Force-Hood is right on his heels in second.
Mike Edwards improved his spot in the Pro Stock points chase, by defeating Jason Line in the Pro Stock finals. Edwards sits in second place, while Line is third in the standings. Line beat out Allen Johnson (last weekend's Pro Stock finals winner) to advance to the final round matchup with Edwards.
The Pro Stock Motorcycle Class took the weekend off, but will return to action next weekend (July 24-25) in the third and final stop (Fram Autolite NHRA Nationals-Sonoma, CA.) on "The Western Swing".
