2 Wrongs Don't Make A Right...TTG Welcomes IRL Coverage

NASCAR, YOU CALL THAT A PUNISHMENT
Written By: Matt "Night" Rider

Two wrongs don't make a right. Carl Edwards (Pictured Left Blue and Green No. 99) recently was handed, in my opinion, a slap on the wrist for his role in the "Get Even" plot against Brad Keselowski. NASCAR handed Edwards a three race probation. What example are we setting for the children that watch NASCAR with their Dads and Moms. What I saw at Atlanta on Sunday, sickened me. Before I jump to conclusion, let's take a trip down memory lane to Talladega last season. Edwards # 99 was sent spinning off the bumper of Keselowski's #09. Edwards became airbourne, then slammed the outside wall of Turn 4.

Now let's analyze Edwards destruction of Keselowski (Pictured Left Red #12) on Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway (Pictured Left). In my opinion, NASCAR should of realized that Keselowski and Edwards will go at it again at Bristol in two weeks. Sorry NASCAR, if it was me, I would of taken further attack. Maybe asked Carl Edwards, What the hell are you thinking? I would of fined him and parked his car for five to ten races. I would of had Carl go to anger management classes, to have him see what reckness with a car can get you. I would never knowingly go after someone while driving, but if I did, I would definitely be arrested. That is horrible on the side of NASCAR. Normal, none racing individuals would get jail, maybe even prison time for what clean-cut Carl did last Sunday.

It's called road rage or wreckless manslaugter. What if Clean Cut Carl would of sent Keselowski into the grandstand, and hit a little boy or girl. You have to man up NASCAR. I want a safe environment for all fans and drivers during the race. Three races on probation is a slap on the wrist. You would have a whale of a different story if Keselowski's car went airbourne into the grandstands, resulting in the death of someone.

As for Keselowski, I would of set him down too. I would of told Keselowski that if he made any move to hit Carl after he came back from his lengthy suspension, then they both would be parked for the year. In any case, it sickening me to have to what a crash fest. It totally horrible the way some people think. I can't even imagine trying to get even by intentionally wrecking another person, let alone another driver. WOW what character and positive energy Clean Cut Carl brought out on Sunday. Way to show what kind of driver you are. Not, in my honest opinion, I think Carl Edwards should of been parked for the rest of the season. NASCAR should of put Keselowski on observation. You just don't forget about that. Yes, they will go to Bristol and things will happen, cause Carl and Brad DO NOT GET ALONG!!! What do I know? I'm just a motorsports racing journalist.

On the lighter side of things, TTG welcomes coverage of the IZOD Indy Racing League in 2010. The season is set to kick off this Sunday, March 14th, when the IRL racers take on  the new Sao Paulo Speedway for the Sao Paulo 300 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
