Darland Wins In Late Stages at Lawrenceburg

LAWRENCEBURG, IN.- Lincoln, IN. racer Dave Darland opened the 2010 Indiana Sprint Week series with a victory at the Lawrenceburg Speedway on Friday.

Bedford, IN. native Brady Short came home second, while third went to Brownsburg, IN.'s Bobby East. Last year's Indiana Sprint Week Champion Levi Jones raced his way to fourth.  "The Demon" Damion Gardner rounded out the top five finishers on the first night of the 2010 Indiana Sprint Week series.

Sixth place belonged to Hunter Schuerenberg, while Daron Clayton put together a good run to finish seventh. Justin Grant came home eighth, while Terre Haute, IN. racer Blake Fitzpatrick raced his way to a nineth place showing. Rounding out the top ten finishers from the first night of the 2010 Indiana Sprint Week series was "The Bullet" Bryan Clauson.

The 2010 Indiana Sprint Week series will head up north for the weekend, racing at the always exciting Gas City (I-69) Speedway on Saturday, July 10th and the Kokomo Speedway on Sunday, July 11th.
