Dale Jr., Kahne Honors Legendary Racers and Their Fast Cars

Jr. Brings the No. 3 Back to Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, FL.- Dale Earnhardt Jr. will honor his father (Dale Earnhardt Sr.)'s upcoming induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, by running the vintage Wrangler's No. 3 at the Nationwide race on July 2nd. Dale Earnhardt Sr. will be inducted in the Hall of Fame on May 11th, as part of the first class of racing legends. Being inducted alongside Dale Sr. will be the original creator of NASCAR "Big" Bill France Sr., his son Bill France Jr., the winningest driver in NASCAR history "The King" Richard Petty and legendary driver/car owner Junior Johnson. It should be a very special next few weeks for NASCAR. Look for Dale Jr. in the legendary #3 as he takes the green flag July 2nd.

Kahne Races Waltrip's Vintage Paint Scheme at RIR
Finishes the night in 21st after late race collision

RICHMOND, VA.- Richard Petty Enterprises racer Kasey Kahne raced a special paint scheme (Pictured Left), honoring Darrell Waltrip's 1985 run to the NASCAR Championship. Kahne started Saturday night's race in 22nd, and kept the Budweiser #9 constantly in the top 20th, often flirting with the top ten. Unfortunately, Kahne was caught up in a late race wreck with Joey Logano, finishing the night in 21st.
